Fletcher Moudy was born in Indiana and grew up listening to country and bluegrass music. 2001 he packed up a truck and moved to Dallas. He was the frontman for the hard rock band SLUR. Their 2002 single “Who I Am” reached the Top 40 on the “Radio & Records” charts. Growing tired of the rock scene, Fletcher found himself returning to his roots in 2016 and dedicated all his time to songwriting.
